    Trim Tabs to help planing?

    well i already tried one of those dorky looking plastic fins and it did just about nothing. where can i get the neg trim wedges? ED

    i have the right prop, the motor is in good condition and i have had it up to about 6000rpm. i will look into the neg trim wedges. Trim tabs not a good idea though or the wedge seems better?

    I am having trouble getting my 89 Sportfire on plane. until it gets up to about 3500 RPM it just goes along in a squat. will trim tabs help me get the boat on plane when accelerating and while traveling at slower speeds? thanks ED

    it runs really nice, had a little problem with the throttle sticking, but got that straightened away. I dont have a top speed yet because my speedo hasnt been working and i cant find my handheld gps. ED
