    Late 70's Plastic Emblems, Predictor Parts

    Drive Shower

    I know of several that were having problems with slip and they either ajusted or cutoff the pickup below the cavitaion plate to shorten it up as much as possible. This took the slip out for a couple of the guys.

    I would recomend the Drive Shower, but with an Alpha Outdrive make sure you know what Generation you have if your looking for the style that mounts on top of the Bearing Cap.     Nu2it's '79 Trimate

    Nice looking boat. My first Checkmate was an identical twin to yours. 79 Trimate 4 with a 140 hp I/O Brown and Tan, named it the "Mississippi TURD". I ran a 21 Laser II @ 4600 and the best was 48 on GPS. It actually just showed back up on the water in our area a couple of weeks ago. Have fun.

    I'm with Chris E, let's see some picture. Also, I would like to know how she performs and what HP your 454 has? My dad purchased a 2004 ZT 218 at the beginng of summer w/ a 350 Mag MPI @ 300 HP. My '93 w/ the 250 HP 350 Mag is no challenge for him.

    Thanks,guys. Rickracer, I looked into the Edelbrock tunning kits. I emailed the tech guys at Edelbrock, they told me the Edelbrock kit wouldn't work that the venturi boosters were different. Have you tried this??? Miss. River Rat

    I just wish I could get my 218 Persuader to walk on the water like dad's eluder. I had a 79 Trimate IV before the Persuader and it only ran about 48 mph, but it looked good running down the river. Miss. River Rat

    1995 Persuader 234 BR 350 hp

    I have a 93 350 Mag (Carbureted) and it is only rated at 250 hp, but I don't know what the difference between the carbureted and the MPI where in hp.
