Guys, I was telling Chris about our little Checkmate spot on the Mississippi River. There are about a dozen Checkmates from the 70's through a couple new 270 Br's and a new ZT 240 BR.

I just wish I could get my 218 Persuader to walk on the water like dad's eluder. I had a 79 Trimate IV before the Persuader and it only ran about 48 mph, but it looked good running down the river.

1975 Checkmate Tri-mate 2, 2.4 200+ / Sky jacker 6" plate / 25p Laser 2 prop, Currently the boat is undergoing overhaul.
 
Fantastic......I own a 92.......with a 7.4...bravo1...Look'n to sell..The lake is too small! lol...She only has 300 hrs...I know, I know, I'll regret it..but the ole lady can't drive her! lol........
 
I'm with Chris E, let's see some picture. Also, I would like to know how she performs and what HP your 454 has? My dad purchased a 2004 ZT 218 at the beginng of summer w/ a 350 Mag MPI @ 300 HP. My '93 w/ the 250 HP 350 Mag is no challenge for him.
