    For now my plan is to stay in the small chain of lakes I'm on in Waterford (Loon Lake, Schoolhouse Lake, Wormer Lake and Mohawk Lake), until I feel comfortable with the boat. I may trailer the boat to some other sites eventually, but not right away.

    Thanks everyone for your suggestions on the cover. Sounds like I'll take a look at what Checkmate has to offer or purchase a quality cover (in not something custom made... definitely not something cheap.
