2400 Pulsare Br vs 2400 Brx BR

I think 2 boats is the answer or at least it is for me. If they made a BRX with a closed rear deck and a 2ft swim platform with twin 250xs's I would trade mine in a heartbeat. Most boats that are fast enough to satisfy my need for speed are not family type boats and are not set up for tubing...

2400 Pulsare Br vs 2400 Brx BR

Hi 88 , Small world. I used to go to Kennedy but I have a permanent site at The landings in Marietta. The river is very nice there and appears to be much cleaner than east liverpool and there is about 40 miles lock to lock and you can go up the Muskingum river or down the Little Kanawha . Salt...

2400 Pulsare Br vs 2400 Brx BR

80 in a brx is not a realistic goal even with a 300xs. "maybe" with a 350 verado but those are big $$ I have tried 4 different props and my best is 72.8 with ideal conditions (cool weather some chop etc) I am sure you know the brx has a cooler storage area. I do like this because it is easy...

2400 Pulsare Br vs 2400 Brx BR

oops. It should be ok now. Not very exciting trust me haha, the camera needs to be zoomed in more but this was just a quick vid to see how it would come out. The thing that is good and bad about the 24 brx is that 70 now feels pretty slow because the boat never gets out of shape. I have yet...

2400 Pulsare Br vs 2400 Brx BR

One of my buddies has a hydro stream 20ft open bow which runs 80 plus. On the river this weekend we were playing around and I had 4 people in my boat and he had 2. Bottom line that even after 5 miles of wot running he was not able to catch me because I did not have to lift one time :bigthumb:

2400 Pulsare Br vs 2400 Brx BR

The pulsare 24 is still old school vs the liner style brx which gives you a TON of walking room. You will give up 5-6 mph but I have had the 2400 brx to 72.8 with a trophy plus and even trimmed down for rough water it will still do 68-70 ( with a 300xs ) I have not weighed my boat though so I...

" For Sale" One Expensive Fast Pulse 211

Twin 250's would be ok but given there is not much weight difference twin 300's would be easier being that I already have one. The biggest problem I see is with insuring the boat, I don't know if there is any way a boat manufacturer can revise the max hp.

" For Sale" One Expensive Fast Pulse 211

I like the look of this boat !! Makes me want to get the twin bracket and run twin 300's on my 2400 BRX !! Will that void the hull warranty ?? haha.

My view of the 2400 brx

For the record the old style 23 trophy was not very good on this boat. Lost about 5 mph and rpm's were about 6300. It was slightly quicker 0-30 but was not as good for skiing compared the the 24 trophy plus. John

My view of the 2400 brx

It may have been an older trophy. I actually won one on the auction site and I am going to try it this weekend if gets here on time. Smooth as glass water is not the fastest btw.

My view of the 2400 brx

No, that is just the pop up for trim percent. You can duplicate it with the motor not running. Why it says E I have no idea. I have also been doing 0-30 holeshots trying to find the best combo. i have found that from idle just stabbing it to wot it has a pretty serious bog but if you put it...

My view of the 2400 brx

Phil, I would pull the factory shipping bolt that they left in so you get more negative trim and just use your Livorsi to reset min and max trim so it uses the full scale. Mine now will go all the way to the top of the gauge before it gets into tilt. I surely don't need my gauge to read the...

My view of the 2400 brx

Something isn't adding up with your rpm unless you were over trimmed. I got 72.8 out of my 24 trophy plus no ring and 2 plugs out and 2 large plugs and the rpm was 6050-6100. I went for about 10 miles WOT so I had plenty of time to play around. Is yours the newer trophy plus ? I use a P...
