    predictor owners

    I had a predictor at one point. Had the same problem with only a 90 in line 6 merc. I put a set of transom wedges on to avoid adding weight to the front. That seemed to help as I could run with a more trim down angle when just cruising.

    Look for a 25 or 26 pitch prop

    I am running a 24 pitch trophy on my starflite with a PRO XS 175. I am running mid sixties with it and turning the prop around 6000 rpm. Best speed was 66.7 on GPS. Do you like the trophy and just want to change the pitch? I am curious as I was running a 23 pitch four blade Pro tech and did not...

    1992 Starflite questions

    Starflite question I for sure agree that investing in at least a 6" (hydraulic) jack plate would be the way to go. I am surprised it does not have one already with that motor. I am running an 87 Starflite and have always had a jack plate. A new 225 PRO XS would push your boat really well.

    What pitch prop should I run

    I have a lot of seat time with a 2100. Mine was a 99 with a 2000 pro max 225. I think I tried just about every prop know except a lightning et. However, I ran mid seventies with a 24 pitch trophy. The bigger motor maybe able to turn the 26 pitch like someone suggested. I had the same problem...
