    INTERIOR QUESTIONS

    My 72 MX15 is that way, carpet right on the hull, except for about a foot wide strip right down the middle which is level.

    Bilge Pump Wiring?

    I agree with Vinny on that one. I have 2 pumps, one automatic on at all times and one heavy duty pump with a manual switch. Pumps are pretty cheap insurance!

    First Boat

    Started with 1930's wood sailboat, then 19' Reinell w/140 I/O, then a Hobbie Cat. Now I have a 17' SeaNymph bass boat w/48 Johnson and my MX15 with an unknown Johnson V4.

    HOW FAR DID YOU GO?

    2 blocks from my house, driving home and saw it in the shopping center parking lot for sale. 20 minutes later it was in my driveway!

    Yup, we will hit the chain o lakes. We will hit Pokagon state park also, that is Lake James I believe. Do they have a 45mph speed limit there? I need to rebuild my seats also, skins are good, just need new wood.

    Glad you found your missing horsepower, hopefully with that fixed and a jack plate, you should be in the sixties for sure! Could definitely use some warm weather, I got the interior gutted on mine, need to rebuild the seats and patch a few spots, but its under a tarp covered with snow and 10...
