    Solenoids Make sure you check fluid level, and before you go throwing $ at it, if its only a clicking sound, I would check the solenoids.......grinding, NG....its prob mota inside good luck!

    1984 Merc overheating.

    Impeller Make sure when replacing impeller, you inspect it well....if it seems brittle or has obvious cracks, that is your likely culprit. If it looks good, replace it anyway, but you now need to be on the look out as to other reasons why your engine is overheating.......dont mess with this...

    Rpms plummet at 5k

    Hey gang, been a while - been having similar problems as Eluders recent post. Boat cruises fine under 4500 rpm, at 5k....the engine bogs down to around 2k, and sometimes "kicks in" again before I come off plane. Compression good, spark all there, replaced in line filter, and water separator...
