    Picked up a second Checkmate

It's not scary like my Starflite but it's pretty fun.

    Picked up a second Checkmate

Hey everyone, it's been awhile since I've visited this (or any other) forum. We added another Checkmate to our family toy collection. There's now a beautiful red '93 Pulse 170 BR with a 225 ProMax Sport staying in MN to be enjoyed on our annual summer vacations. The Starflite has been back...

I'm back!! Well, Not really, Not yet.

Nice! Any new news? I've also been away due to life happening. I need to get my Starflite back out on the water soon though!

    Hey guys

Yeah, end of August to help my parents close up for the year. No, did not get anywhere near 86 with the 225, mid to high 60's. The V8 has more than 86 in it but I don't. ;) It was revving ~6300 on that 86mph pass. Rob

    Hey guys

I'm not a new member but I haven't visited the site dedicated to THE best boats in a long time so I figured this was the right place to post. I still have my Starflite with the big motor and hope to get the hull wet this year at some point (haven't had it out in far too long......). Anyway I...

16 hour roadtrip to get 2100BR Pulsare

NICE!!! I'm glad it went to someone on this board who will appreciate it. I will try to collect a finder's fee from the boat repair place next season. LOL I wanted to get it to keep up at the lake house in MN but my wife was not having any of that. :( Guess we'll be towing the Starflite...

    Found a clean '95 Pulsare

That's exactly where it is! Good eye Sam. I leave to go back home to AZ Saturday morning and tomorrow and Friday will be spent closing up the house for the winter so I really don't have time to mess around with buying a boat. I'd love to have it but the timing just isn't right. I can get...

    Found a clean '95 Pulsare

I was on my morning ride around our lake on my 12-speed. I saw it on the side of the road under a cover and instantly recognized it as a Checkmate by the shape. I looked at the serial number and saw that it was a '95. I spoke with the owner of the storage/repair place and he said the...

    Found a clean '95 Pulsare

It "has bad rings" on the fuel injected XRi but otherwise it's all there in great shape on a single axle C-hawk bunk trailer. What's it worth? I'm thinking of going half and half with my brother and keep it up here in MN at the parents lake house so we don't have to keep hauling one of our...

    1997 Checkmate Convincor 253 W/502 MPI

Merely adding power to an engine will not increse the velocity, just the acceleration. You will have to go up in pitch or change the outdrive ratio or increase engine RPM to increase speed. Power only dictates how much you can change these parameters. And that is one sweet looking large...

Guests and their kids on your 'Mate

It may make you feel bad to act like a jerk once in a while but it's easier/cheaper than fixing the things they may break. Rob

Since we don't have a West chapter....

In that case I'm busy the 16th.

Since we don't have a West chapter....

Just let me know when and I'll try my best to make it. I'll be in MN during the last week of June but otherwise I think I'm pretty much free. Rob
