Found a clean '95 Pulsare

It "has bad rings" on the fuel injected XRi but otherwise it's all there in great shape on a single axle C-hawk bunk trailer. What's it worth?

I'm thinking of going half and half with my brother and keep it up here in MN at the parents lake house so we don't have to keep hauling one of our boats up here to have a fast toy on the lake. ;-)

Price/details? I looked at a '95 in MN earlier this year that was advertised clean and was junk....
 
I was on my morning ride around our lake on my 12-speed. I saw it on the side of the road under a cover and instantly recognized it as a Checkmate by the shape. I looked at the serial number and saw that it was a '95. I spoke with the owner of the storage/repair place and he said the boat/trailer/bad motor was available for $7500 and the boat/trailer could be had for $7000. Seems a bit high to me but it's in great shape. It's a base white with blue/yellow accents and stripes. It's a BR. I'll try to go take some pictures later if I get bored with my vacation. ;)

Sounds like the perfect deal to bring $6k cash too.... Not using it and sounds like they're not interested in sticking more $$$ into it.

Bear in mind that I sold my 1994 Pulsare/Merc 225 for $12500.oo! I would think that $7500.oo would be a good price if the hull is solid and needing no work!! Can't hurt to offer less though!!:thumb:
 
Nice lookin' rig! That sure looks like pelican lake area...north side by wild flower or west side by the old golf course? I'm on Upper Cormorant. My old 2003 Pulse 185 is on Pelican now...White with Red.

Go low...they'll take it just so they don't have to store it or leave it in the snow bank over the winter.
 
You may have a good 600 to a grand if you part out that XRI. Ied do that and then buy something newer.

That's exactly where it is! Good eye Sam. I leave to go back home to AZ Saturday morning and tomorrow and Friday will be spent closing up the house for the winter so I really don't have time to mess around with buying a boat. I'd love to have it but the timing just isn't right.

I can get the contact info and post this in the Classifieds if someone else is interested.
