    I had the 300/330 Gen. V ICU. The boat did 52mph at 4200 rpm when I bought it as it was way to slow. I added vortec heads, Edlebrock rpm intake, and a Gen IV Ecu to elliminate the rev limit. I would hit the rev limit at 4200 rpm so I had to change to the gen IV ICU to elliminate the rev limit...

    The carb will work on your boat. The intake will only work if you have oval ports on your heads. When I added the these oval port vortec heads to my boat, I picked up about 11 miles per hour. If you want to add cheap horse-power the vortec heads are the way to go along with the intake and carb.

    Engine cuts out at High RPM

    I found that I do have the knock sensor after looking up my ignition. It seems to be kicking in at 4200 to 4400. I was hoping to reprop and spin it up to 5000. What other information do you need or are you talking about. Been out of town on business for a while, sorry.

    distributor question

    I removed my distributor some time ago to put new heads and intake on. There seems to be a brass vacume fitting comming out of the distributor. I cant remember if there was a hose here or not. Should there be a vacume line here. IF so where does it go too from the distributor, Is it needed...

    Vent cover

    My engine bay vent cover in the rear above the swim deck fell off and is a gonner. Anybody know where I can get a new or used one for a 242 convincer.
