    73 MX-16 resto/mod, 1 broke high school teacher

How did it come out? I like the clamps you made. I'm getting ready to do the same thing on my mx 16. As you did I'm reading alot of info from those who have done this before and hoping I do it right as this is my first transom rebuild. Did you run into any issues I should look out for?

"Wanted" Used 115-150hp Outboard motor with controls

I'm looking for an outboard motor for my Mx-16. I would prefer a Mercury 1400 but will consider any brand between 115-150hp as long as it runs as it should. I'm more interested in a mid to late 70's model as my boat is a '72 and would like to keep it as original looking as I can.

    My 1972 Mx16

I just bought a 1972 Mx16 a few days ago and although I only paid $100 for the boat and trailer I'm very excited and anxious to get to work on it. It needs a lot of work like replacing the transom which I'm pretty nervous about but I think that being nervous about that will keep me checking...

    1975 Vmate restoration

Nice boat! I'm getting ready to do pretty much the same thing to my 72' mx16. I just bought it a week ago for $100. Needs new transom, floor, interior, and paint. Sure got my work cut out for me on this one :brickwall:but it will be sooooo worth it.
