    yeah i am currently looking for a 150 hp if it has tilt/trim then i am going to put a jack plate with a 6" setback 175checkmate said he had one for me. if not i am going to put a cmc tilt/trim with a 6" set back. i think i am going with the cmc anyway for my 85 hp because i can get it so cheap...

    thanx big dave i think i am going to get all the parts from 175checkmate and have the factory recover it all for me. i figured it would be cheaper than someone that dosen't deal with these boats every day. besides i want to restore to like new condition. thank you for your reply

    no 175checkmate motor dosen't have tilt it is a 1976 evenrude 85hp it has been very well maintained so we'll see how it runs.

    that sounds like a plan. i entend on removing the motor and installing a cmc hyd tilt/trim with 6" setback i found a used one localy for about 150.00 they are checking it out now to make sure it is all up to specs not sure if i will be able to get the motor up with that or not.

    that sounds very cool i would appreciate that alot and it would be cool to meet up with you so i will keep in touch till then. i am going to enjoy it this year and redo it and paint next winter so that would work out perfect. thank you!
