06 PULSARE 2400

The boat is at its new home in VA now. Going to get some hours on it soon!

Thanks for your help Bob and nice meeting you. The boat is in great shape. Going to take the GPS out today for the maiden run, but it is going to be loaded down.

:thumb:

Even if it could run 70, its not going to happen with me the first time in the seat with the family. Have to ease my wife into this, you know.

I've had more boats than I can remember, somwhere in the teens, I think, but never had a performance boat. Coming out of years of 40-50 mph saltwater boats. Should be fun. :thumb:

Ian thanks, after meeting you , i'm sure the boat has gone to a good home and a family that will enjoy it . my last 2 boats were sold to friends , one of which (dave t ) is a member here . many others i kept in contact with long after the sale . a couple , i even made the new owners get half drunk with me before i would let them go . i wanted to sell this boat , but even more than that , i wanted the new owner to be pleased with their purchase . welcome to the checkmate family big guy !!!!!!!!!

I think we were more than half drunk .:D
Im going to regret not buying the 24 .

Bob,

That reminds me. There is one misleading pic you sent me that I based the purchase on that you failed to include with the boat.

This could be construed as a material omission:

I assumed the can cooler and Bud Light was included. :D

I'll let it go for now.

I'll get your tag in the mail tomorrow if I remember to pull it off tonight.

This pic reminds me too. I could only squeeze 6.6 gallons into the tank before it burped on me. Didn't realize I had to turn the key on for the guage to work. That was a nice surprise that made up for the can cooler. :)

Ian , the gas guage is also wired to a switch . either the dash lights (toggle) or one on the switch panel . i can't remember which . the can holders were a gift to me from "shameless" , another member / of this site that i keep in touch with . watch your mailbox .but the bud light , you're on your own . it's probably the reason for the low hours . it goes flat too fast if drank under way . as for the gas , an empty tank just wouldn't be cool , and besides i thought we were going for a boat ride . i consider you a class act for not insisting on a water test before you handed over the $$$$$. i've enjoyed this transaction .

last night i get a call on the boat because i forgot to cancel the local ad . guy is pissed . "what do you mean it's sold ?" i mean it's sold , gone ..................... i'm sure it wasn't the answer he was expecting and i could tell i threw him for a loop .i think i had talked to him before and he jerked me around . maybe you had to be there , but from where i was sitting , it was worth the price of admission .

So, what's his number and how much did he offer? :D

Ha, just kidding, I'm going to put a bunch of hours it, and got plenty of friends that want rides. Funny, when I got Gradys and Whalers, lots of people told me it was a nice boat, but no one ever said "when are we going for a ride?"

My kid's friends keep asking to get on it too (in the driveway), but that's not going to happen without me on it.
