The wife is NUTS...(she married me)!!!!

HERE'S a good one: My son & I were were out playing in the Sonic doing some mild passes (mid 80's)... Buzzing along, the fastest I've ever taken him in a boat (he will be 10 soon), he leans over and yells to me "IS THAT ALL IT'S GOT???"... I think I've created a MONSTER!

Jupiter Pulsare... How True!!! He is really a little "motorhead"...and turns 10 at the end of October. He's been riding a ATV quad since 4 and had a chance to drive one of my brother-in-laws 8' mini-hrdro with a 6 horse... he really seamed to dig it! Reminds me of my childhood days and I started at 7!!! I'm sure as he gets older... we'll have a ton of more fun.

Kurt (fnshrmaster)... Glad the trade with Kip worked out... sure will be better for your boy's, your wife, and Lake Michigan! The Sonic is a whole different ANIMAL... probably the ONLY reason I'm selling it is to get more "family friendly" and back into a CHECKMATE!

Anyway... I wonder what else I can do to it over the winter...maybe some updates?

Anyhow, I have it priced almost $4000 UNDER SPRING MARKET so I can start shopping for the family C'Mate...and it's still here unbelieveably (no one has come to see it yet)! The first one that does and it'll be G-O-N-E in a heart-beat! This boat would cost $60K to duplicate!!!

Oh well... so people are either stupid or broke... lots of deamers and no cash! I might just have to wait for spring and make a few extra grand towards the family friendly CHECKMATE...

You really need to sell this boat. I keep comming back to it. $$'s all screwed up right now or I would have a new replacment for the tri-mate.
 
Ya... I REALLY hate to sell it also... it's one serious BAD-A$$ BOAT!!! It just doesn't fit in the family scope of things well...

The other issue is that I'm WAY UNDER SPRING PRICE by about $3-4K...maybe I should be asking $16,900/offer??? But no takers (or lookers) for $13,000 FIRM as of yet!!! Oh well, no loss, and it will sell for more in the spring...

hi are the engines carbs no fuel inject no oil inject-can they run on regular 87 or 89 gas are there 25 inch shafts how is the compression in each cylinder better then 120? thanks selling the motors without the engines or as a package deal. thankyou
 
FYI...MOTORS... These are 2.5L carb motors...both freshly modified summer of 2004. They are both tuned and jetted to run on 91+ octane premium pump gas and premix the oil with Merc premium pre-mix at 40:1 (no oil injection). They have performance head work, so higher compression than stock... Compression test was 135-140psi on all 12 holes Oct-2004 (they will run OK on 89 marina fuel if jetted up a bit). They are 20" shafts and have the merc racing offshore CLE lower units (2-hole, shiftable F-N-R, straight skeg style). I would consider selling the motors AS A MATCHING PAIR but only if I get buyers lined up for #1. hull/trailer, and #2 motors (with or without Merc LAB props).

Care to make an offer on them and how soon would you need them??? I may still have an interested buyer in the hull from a month or so back.

thats what i need. my friend builds motors and
we have lots of 2.4 and 2.5's but i dont want to
put twins on my 85 enchanter yet. want to put them on about a 24 v-bottom, if you know where on is? my "merc man" is a merc genious, and he
can shave enough horsepower out of my 2.5l, 200,
that im beating 225 opti maxes, and 300 v8 evins
on boats like mine. seen 79mph on gps. i want to
leave my set-up as is, and go 3 litre, but ill
do anything. id like to see yours
