1972 Checkmate MX-15 Great Shape

Checkmate mx-15

New member
1972 Checkmate MX-15 Boat, Has New Carpet, New Floor, New Transom, Transom was compeltely redone and added an extra 1" to the top of the transom. This will only matter if the motor is mounted directly to transom. I would suggest adding a bobs convertable jack plate, that has 2.5" of setback. Boat overall is in Great Condition. Gel Coat in good condition, just needs a good buff to get it back to shine, sun really likes to make it not shine.
Closed Bow front with glove box, but otherwise open to the tip.

Currently has gauges included, speedo, tach, has a three button trim gauge in the dash, for the older inlines.

Has single cable steering included, just a rack single cable, and a standard steering wheel.

Brand new automatic bilge pump included, has a mount for a trim pump, and a battery tray hold down glassed in.

Front has a glove box to hold your belongings. If you need a control box, I have a few of those.

Color is black, with gold flake, original gel coat on boat.

Sits on a dilly bunk trailer, with brand new 5.30 x 12 tires. Trailer has good working lights is a tilt trailer if neccessary, and in good condition

Lighter boat, had a 1973 inline 150 on it, and could get 6200 rpm with a 23 or 24 pitch prop. Ran close to 70 with that set up.

Good little boat easy to pull with just about any vehicle. Needs new seats or seats recovered, could probably recover seats, or at least get a price. Has two back to back seats, so holds 4 people in this configuration. These are not original seats.

Asking $850 obo for boat and trailer
