1975 Checkmate Tri-mate 2, some new pic's and video

I am using a freinds computer. I dont have one right now....so I have to borrow. He isnt into boats, now this computer gets to do some fun boat talking.

I am the one who knows all!

Nice... I post from work sometimes...

Checkmates may not be the fastest boats on the water, but they are the nicest looking!

Nope no sound, my camera doesent have it, I wish it did.

Yeah... Most of us have tried and failed to upload pics... I did e-mail Chris an image as your Avator. Here you as a normal member can only use URL's for images, meaning it has to be on a website already...

I love the boat, its so much like my 81 16.5' Predictor. I have a closed bow so its a bit cramped with the two kids. A 19p high five turns around 6200 rpm at 60 mph. Gonna post pics sometime for sure. love your boat, where is the water hole?

Thanks for the kind words Marcus. Its been a labor of love/hate. I will post some new pictures when I get the boat moved up here.

Patricia!

Welcome to the board.

I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of your boat. I have a big soft spot for the older boats.

Great video,I have a trimate 4, 1979. Inboard,I think she was originally fitted with a ford V6, but at some point in a very interesting history some one has put in a V8. 70 is impressive-I've only been up to about 55 knots, and the V8 is rated at 240hp, but it's heavy, so that probably why it doesn't go quite as well. Do you know of any others over here?

Very cool. And you own a clasic mate. It does not get any better than that. We will have to get together sometime.
