1977 checkmate convincer

Staypuff

New member
as the title says...tats the boat i have...hull is in very good comdition...transom sounds find when you bang on it and the floor is solid(if it can hold water like a swimming pool when it rains and my 350lbs brother n law can jump on it and it not move thats good enough for me...interior needs new carpet and some new woodwork under the seats...easy deal. engine is a ford 351w rated at 235hp. I/o. exhaust manifold is cracked and needs to be re welded. engine turns over by hand, no cracks in the block..everything seems to look sound however i would rebuild to replace the seals/gaskets for piece of mind. trailer is fine and dandy but one tire has a slow leak. i bough these both with no title with intent to rebuild and restore. ill read the rules here in a min to see what i need to change but im not goign to list a price as of right now....best offer will take it. im located in IL just south of chicago and you can reach me by cell...815 474 6694 with any question you may have. thanks

Those titles over the years can get pretty messed up from people guessing at things... My title for my convincor when i got it said it had a 12 ft beam? lol I think what you have there is a v-mate but do not quote me on that I dont know the lo-pro boats that well. Good look with the sale man!
