1979 Entertainer OB

Nice boat, I have a 1980 eluder with the same color combination! The only real difference is I have a Johnson 175 and you have that big merc 200 on the back! What speeds have you been seeing with that motor?

After just re-doing my 80 enchanter I know what goes into restoring these. Yours is stunning. Looks vintage and modern at the same time. What's the background on this boat.?

Wow, that is a beautiful boat!! Looks new, is that original or restored? If restored, who did it? Sweet looking ride.

Thanks for the nice comments. I bought the boat new in 1979 and picked it up at the factory for the dealer and it was rigged with a 1978 Merc 200. I retired the old 200 in 2003 and bought a new 200 from the "Fishin Hole" in St. Louis and they rigged the engine and controls and did great job. I started restoring the boat 3 years ago. I had the bucket seats made at Indianapolis Marine and the rest of the interior work I did myself. This spring I cut all the old wiring out and re-wired everything and installed all new JBL stereo, Bose speakers, gauges and a switch board. The exterior has been clearcoated above the waterline. I am not real pround of the clearcoat job but the finish was gone in places. The boat runs great and it shows 74 MPH on the speedometer. No GPS yet

Someone put a lot of time and money into that boat. It looks great!
