I spoke to the gentleman selling the boat. He would not let me view the boat because I am from out of town. I am a very serious buyer looking for a very similar boat to purchase (WITH CASH IN HAND). He would not entertain the idea of me purchasing the boat only a few hundred miles away. Currently there are several checkmate owners in our group who are very passionate about them. Unfortunately this one will not be added to our group for whatever reason. Hopefully the seller realizes that the checkmate name is not state wide and there is a whole country of people that want to own and operate these boats. I understand they were built in Ohio but they need to travel further for people to enjoy. If you are willing to sell your prize boat that we all admire and respect it should be offered to all of us.

Congratulations Cyclone! Someone is getting a beautiful Checkmate. See those out of state folks are good to deal with. Plus, it will be great to see another awesome Checkmate on my home lake.
