1982 Checkmate Convincor w/250 Bluewater Mercury OB

This is a very unusual boat. It is a 25' Checkmate Convincor with a 250 Bluewater Mercury Outboard. The boat has dark blue sides and a tan deck. The boat is a 1982 but the outboard is a 1999. It OB has around 150 hours total with 20 hours on a fresh powerhead. It has brand new upholstry and a new hatch as of this year. All of the teak has been redone. It as a 1999 Eagle trailer.

I would like $13k for the boat.

Please call 513-314-7910 or email me at donzichick @ yahoo .com with any questions.

I also have a Gil marine setback bracket that I would be willing to include. I bought the bracket and never found the time to put it on the boat.

Like I told boatman, some of these pics are from before the teak and the upholstry was redone.

I will try to get some updated ones this weekend.

It will do 50 without a problem. 55, can be done but everything has to be perfect.

I've been told by various people, including Jason Kunkle, that they think adding the set back bracket would allow me to gain more speed. I bought the bracket but just never found the time to put it on the boat.

good numbers

that sounds about right.I've always liked the big checkmate outboards.

It's been a great boat for me, but my boyfriend has a 28' Cig and my dad has a couple of Donzi classics and a cruiser. The maintenance on everything is getting to be a bit much...

It is still for sale. I haven't been trying very hard to sell it to be honest...

I can get you some updated pictures this weekend.

i can understand that ! i havent been to serious @ shoppin , but thnkin we need a bigger boat thanks z

I apologize I wasn't able to get any pics this past weekend. However, I will be at the Alum creek shootout on Sunday. Any chance you had plans to attend or would want to come to see the boat? If not, I'll definitely get pictures for you this weekend.

Sylvania, Ohio is near Dayton isn't it? Alum creek is slightly north of downtown Columbus.

I'm asking 13k for this boat. Do you guys think it's too much? It has under 50 hours on the powerhead of the 1999 outboard. The upholstry is brand new.

Also, I have other pictures of the boat that are too large to post here. If anyone wants them, please PM me your email address or post it here.

I have always stored the boat inside (either at the rack building or my boyfriend's barn) and I know the owned prior to me did the same for the last 5 years or so.

The boat is in great condition for a 1982. I would really like to sell as my boyfriend and I have upgrades that we want to do to his Cigarette and it's too much work for us to maintain this many boats.

I will consider any reasonable offers.
