Good looking boat, are those pictures taken on Spring Lake. I am headed over th GH this weekend. It will be a quick trip for the brothers wedding. Next year going to bring the boat up.
 
No, those pictures were taking on Round Lake in Manitou Beach, Mi (South of Jackson). But I did get some good boating in this year on Spring Lake.

It would be a very close race....when I got the boat (about 12 years ago)it would run in the mid 50's. But this summer I could only get around 48 out of it.
I think I might refresh the cam and have the heads reworked and maybe a quality prop this winter. Last week I did a compression test and was getting 130psi in two and 135psi in the other two.
 
Thats still fast enough to outrun most mastercrafts and nautiques. those things are over rated. last time out I out ran a one of the current model mastercrafts he had 3 times the amout of hp I am running.

I'm hoping to same my nickels and dime for a jackplate and prop over the winter, I'm hoping for 60.
