thanks nathan, and thanks for putting up ics in my other thread.
as for the enchanter we are still on the fence,on whether to sell it or get a motor, the motor being very expensive, lol.
and now that we have this boat the diplomat will go cheap, about 300 bucks i dont have anymore room, lol, plus the wife is not happy, but she will get over it,lol.

Nice boat John,

If I'm not mistaken it's rated for 225hp max...I am the proud owner of a 1984 Enchanter, have had it since the day I bought it at the New York boat show in Jan. of 84'...at the time Tony Caligure was the salesman for O'Neill's Boatyard in East Rockaway NY...took delivery in May and have had 30 years of reliability and enjoyment. Will post photo upon unwrapping for the 30th year festivities...

Nice looking boat. Always liked that blue Checkmate used. You don't see many that color. Good luck on the new toy, and :welcome:.

thanks jet mate and problem child, you should see the original blue faux fur up under the bow in excellent condition, very cool, lol.john

Enchanter

My brother-in-law has had one for 28 years with a 235 Evinrude on it. No jackplate, bolted straight to the transom and does low 70's. Boat has held together well. Interior is a little tired, gel is still good and there appears to be no structural issues at all. It has been a family boat and served him well. I believe the rating is 225. His is the same color combo as yours.

buyer did not pay

i put it on ebay and the guy didnt pay,i did not notice he was from Thailand until it was all over, then i have to wait the 4 days which is today to get anything started to relist this, but this time no international bidders.im pretty mad.john:brickwall::pissed:
