Tried to edit the post with pics to remove them and put up smaller ones but I get a message saying I cant edit posts?????

I think it's an eluder I/O. same boat as my exciter, but with bow seats. you can look through the vintage brochures in the showroom part of the message board.

Thanks...I will check that out. Just trying to find as much info as I can. The woman I bought it from "inherited" it in her recent Divorce. They purchased it new in '83 but she doesnt know a lot about it and had no manuals.

Thanks!! Lots of info here and it will take a while to browse through it. I'm sure I will have a lot of questions.....

I'm getting somewhere. Took a lot of site browsing until I found out that the Model name is on the boats capacity plate. Obvious place for it and I have looked at that plate many times.

mistertoadie...you were correct. It is an Eluder. That name fits me well

Now I have to locate some repair manuals...

IT IS ONE OF THE NICEST OLDER CHECKMATES I'VE SEEN.

Took it to the Gulf...Florida....last Month. Rns great had it up to 55mph. It hadnt been in the water in a year and a half. Coast Guard guys were quite friendly when we were stopped for safety check. The only thing I noticed was that the Temp guage didnt seem to read high enough.

We stayed a week and only got to take it out twice because of the rain and rough water.

I did know enough to flush it out when I returned home.....my first boat so I am learning things all the itme.

don't even tell us what you paid for it...
