" For Sale" 1986 21' Enchanter Parts

I'm going to be stripping the hull of my 21' 1986 Enchanter next week and selling off the parts, so let me know if you need anything and if I have it I'll post a picture.
For example: windshield is in great shape, railings are in good shape, navigation lights work, has original gauges, seat upholstery is shot but the fiberglass frames are fine, engine controls work, etc.
Hull itself is structurally sound, paint is faded. It's going to be chain-sawed if nobody wants it for a project; haven't seen any interest in it for over a year and it's got to go.
Sits on a perfectly fine roller-type single-axle trailer.
Have title to trailer and hull.
Will also be parting out the engine, to be listed in the appropriate forum. 175hp Mercury that was running strong until it threw a rod. Sits on a 5" jack plate, oil-injection system, all electrics and hydraulics working, etc.
Thanks for looking.

Hull

Hi;
Received your message earlier, not sure if my response went successfully. Anyway, the Enchanter is in North Chesterfield, about 5 miles from CAP (I've pulled many a part there). A neighbor has dibs on the windshield, but it's not certain that it will transfer to his boat. Assume that it's gone unless I post otherwise. Other than that the hull is untouched. Thanks for your interest.

I work in the evenings and don't get home 'till late, so I got your message and am responding.

Hi; The Enchanter still has the original swim ladder, but at this point Jumbofordman has expressed an interest in the entire hull so I'm not taking any more parts off it. You might want to ask him if he needs it. If for any reason he opts out I'll get back to you. Thanks.

I made it home! Everything was going fine until I made it to Jarrett, VA; and decided I could go 70. The tires lasted about 1/2 of a mile at 70, and promptly shredded :eyecrazy:! Good thing I brought along 2 spare tires. Then, while in the middle of changing the tires along I-95 a rubber cover blocking off an unused port on my radiator blew off and I lost most of my coolant. I almost made it to the next exit before the temp started rising, but when I slowed down the engine cut off and wouldn't restart! I thought I seized the engine.:brickwall: Luckily I made it all the way down the exit ramp and could see a convenience store right around the corner. After the engine cooled down for a couple of hours I filled it up with water from the store and it fired right up.:banana:. I had already called AAA by this point in time, so I let them tow me to Emporia, VA where I got the parts I needed to fix my radiator. I made it home around 11:30 pm with the truck running fine, and no further issues with the tires.

Sorry to hear about the trip from He-- ! All looked fine when the rig was pulling out. Trailer never gave trouble in the past, but then it's never been flown down I95 before. Glad to hear you eventually made it home safely !

It was rolling so well for the first 40 miles or so leaving Richmond while going that I felt confident taking it up to 70 mph, and was amazed how fast the tire shredded. Oh well, that's why I brought 2 good spares!
