1986 convincer dropouts

I'm restoring a 86 convincer, the boat came with no seats. I would like to find an original pair of dropout frames with or without seats.

My 90 251 only has one leg for a frame. nothing more

Nothing, It is through bolted to the side wall of the boat. The hinge is attached to the Bolster seat side. If you want more pic's of the seat set up I can take some for you.

if you could that would be great (rgibbs@toromont.com). i understand this boat is more narrow and slightly different shape than newer gtx boats. if anyone has pics of this vintage convincer, i would appreciate them

I will do that. I am sure your boat and mine are the same. It is the narrow beam 251 that is 7'6" or something like that wide. Then they step up to the 253 and then the 259.
