This old thread cracked me up, for two reasons: JP has his 2800 and a pulsare and this chick above is nuts. Must be before the PayPal scams.

I wonder what happened to Burke:confused:..haven't seen him on the site in along while. I hope he still has his 2800. It's a clean survivor that hasn't been screwed up!:thumb:

Might be my new boat....

Drop top bought his blue convincor the day I got married 4 years ago... I planned to buy that blue beast when I returned from the honeymoon. At that time I contacted burke via email and told him to contact me should he want to ever sell his boat. Well, I think I will be picking this boat up on Sunday as long as it's as nice as him states it is. He's firm at 20k but its on a brand new aluminum trailer and he put 2500 into electronics on the motors a few years ago..... probably paying too much but one of these boats has been on my radar since I bought my 24' formula in 2004 and i gotta get it outta my system. Thoughts and opinions?

As long as you and seller come to terms both can live with go for it. Your happiness is what is most important. I've been on both sides of this equation before. Good luck.:surf:

I don't wanna knock the guys boat, feel free to pm or email me and I'll fill you in. Let's just say I felt it was a 15k boat at most. My 87 Starflite is pretty much show room in comparison.
