1987 OB Enforcer

Hey everyone! So I picked this boat up early last summer an did a few things to it to get it running good and I love the boat. So this year I'm about to pull it out of the water and start to do an over haul to it.

I'm going to pull the rails and windshield off an leaving them off, then im Gonna make a low profile fiberglass windshield instead.

Then ill be pulling the carpet and floor up and removing the foam and more then likely do a spray in bed liner instead of carpet. If its possible but not sure till I get the floor up and see how much room I have to go down where the caption chairs are I might lower the floor there to put drop bolster in just bc I like them. Lol! Oh and I will be redoing all the seats.

After that ill be cutting the splash well out checking the transom then filling that area in the back in and adding a full sundeck in for the ol lady. Along with getting a buddy to make a custom swimplatforn across the back.

Then my favorite thing I'm doing is next Friday I'm going to pick up a 95 merc 2.5 mpv efi (260hp). I already got me a 6" hydraulic jackplate and will be getting a 10" setback bracket here shortly.

That's a little run down of what I have planned to finish before this summer seeing that I live on the lake ad don't want to be without a boat. Lol! The pics Cmpulse posted is what the boat looks like now and I will be taking some throught my progress for you all to see.

Also I will be painting after that not sure what color yet but I'm leaning towards blue and silver with some candy designs in it.

Very Nice and Good Luck, Now take that 2.5 and flip it with a good profit and get yourself a heavier and Torquier (?) 3.0 liter or newer xs series.
Or Not?

p.s. I have a nice S.S. 19p I'm lookong to sell. only kidding:p

Come to find out that 2.5 isn't what they said it was but I found a 02 merc 250xb with no lower and says it runs hot at idle only. I'm going to look at it Monday he's asking $2000 for it but think $1500 cash will do it since he already got a motor and that one is in his way.

Yea if I get it that cheap plus a lower at a decent price and hopefully it was just his gauge not the motor. If it is the motor hopefully it isn't anything major. But he did say if it was something major or didnt run he would give me my money back.

I will. The rail is good all besides up at the nose of the boat where it 45's in to the top of the hual shouldn't be a problem finding another one.

So I got the 250xb running and put on it ran 60mph (GPS) with a 25p tempest at 5700rpm I probably could get 65mph with a smaller prop. But i want to go fast so I found me a 05 300x for a very good price that I'm going to pick up Saturday in Ohio. Then from there to Detroit to pick me up some drop bolsters. Ill be pulling the motor off some time next week if we get some nice weather then hopefully paint it before putting the new one on. The 250xb I've decided needs to go on my exciter project for the time being. Lol!

I talked to Eric at Simons and hopefully I can get this 300x to push me into the 80mph mark with a few extra goodies added to it. Al's enforcer ran 76gps so I think it might be do able!
