i need some info and feedback on the 1988 Ambassador. the one i'm looking at is practically brand new, has the 5.7litre Mercrusier, Alpha I outdrive, actually is the same looking boat in the 1988 Brochure. same color and everything, any info will be much appreciated.

I have a 1884 Ambassador

and love it. it has the same set up as yours and still runs like a dream. it is a good sized boat and great for the family and a few friends. pulls great and has pulled as many as 3 skiers. It throws a mean wake for a wake board if you are so inclined. mine runs about 63 wide open. check it out good for wood rot but if it is solid jump on it.

hope this helps
