That is a great looking 'Mate... I absolutly love the red and black, and also those are the colours I would want on my future boat that I find, even if that requires me redoing the paint... I also like the fact that it is a bowrider, allowing more people in the boat with more space. Again, Great Boat!

Checkmates may not be the fastest boats on the water, but they are the nicest looking!

well it's 2004 time for more power curently puttin in a 383 stroker brand new block from speedo-motive it's a true stroker all stroke no bore ( 3.80" ) cant wait to take it out and run it when run it ill post stats.

Very first checkmate I ever drove was the closed bow version of that hull - all red with a 350 Mag in it - fun, fun boat. At WOT you could let go of the wheel and it steered straight and true - awsome. By the way - don't try this at home!!! i was young and stupid!

well had the boat uot two times and it runs like you cant belive it pulls so hard even though mid range, havent had it wot yet but have went 73mph already thats with a 23 pitch prop may have to go to a 25 pitch like to see it go close to 80 mph, when its broke in and can run it wot ill let you know what the numbers are and if i have to prop up.
