1992 18 or 21?!?!?

After years of offshore boating on my 28 pantera I'm looking to get back into the more economical side of boating.

So i found a 1992 pulsare. The guy selling it said it's a 21ft. But I'm thinking it's actually a 18 ft. Can you guy's and gals tell from my crappy pictures? Or have a way of telling by the HIN

Correct me if I’m wrong, looks like a 18.6 pulse

I think you're right. That isn't 21ft and it isn't a Pulsar.

Now, how about a little more info on your 28 Pantera? That's one of my all time favorite boats! I was very seriously considering one earlier this year.

Might be a scammer ad. He's way off on the model.

Definitely not a Pulsare 2100, definitely a Pulse. Looks too short in the pix to be the Pulse 210 so I'm also guessing the 186. But it kinda looks like the 171 in one angle.
I don't know how people can get the model wrong when it's listed on the USCG plate near the throttle. If the USCG plate is missing, there's another option. Looks like a C-Hawk trailer, have him find the data plate sticker and tell you what model trailer it is. They matched the trailer model to the boat model.

I was the owner of the most notorious pantera ever made. You can see it in action if you search pantera race boat on YouTube. It's the one with the green eyes.

That is one sexy motherf@#%*r!!!!!! I bet that was an absolute BLAST to take out on Lake Michigan. I was looking at an all white 28 single engine. It was a pleasure layout, not race. My wife and I fell in love with them when we saw our first 28 down on Cumberland, it was all white with big green eyes on the side. I wouldn't mind getting ahold of a twin engine 28 and building a clone to the LSX I have in my 253 and ditch the big blocks.

I Really-REALLY loved my Pantera. And actually when the guy called and wanted to buy it i didnt think he was serious. So i threw out a price.... He said sold.... Ive had the boat 5 years and had many people ask if i would sell it and wanted a price. But this guy actually did. So i never planned on selling it.

Im trying to find the video of me running it... was a blast at 70 with some 3-5ft waves.

But a 21ft single OB would be better for around my house. So thats what im looking for.

Gotcha. Keep an eye on SCT's craigslist ad thread. If its out there and for sale, he'll find it and post it!!

Ya, the 21 Pulsare is a great hull, fun and easy to drive, very economical. As others said, the one in the pic is not a Pulsare. Try to find one as new as you can, I have a 97 and although the gelcoat is nice, the fit and finish work inside wasn't great, just sloppy. Wood transom wasn't sealed well. I replaced my transom, not the end of the world but just look closely at the transom and floor.

Otherwise, good boats.
