" For Sale" 1993 Starflite 200HP EFI

Do you ever get over towards mn?I like a good road trip but work hasn't allowed much extra time as of late

No i dont. But can always find a shipper. Uship.com seem to have good rates and wont require anyone with talent to pull this boat.
Has fresh wheel bearings, and tires.

i'm here in lapeer and seller is no where to be found....getting a little bit pissed as he has not picked up the phone for over two hours now.....

Did you drive from Mn. to get it? I have met Kyle, he is a good guy, I would be shocked that he would stand you up. Did you go to his house?

Jake got the boat and i am up for the day. All went well. Gave him a little discount for the stress of thinking he got stood up.

Gave him the house across the street address. Figured would send him a message saying look across the street. but he was earlier than expected. But all is good.

Best of luck. Thank you form... another checkmate sold.

all is good, I got the boat and got home around 11 last night, 32 hours and 1425 miles later. Kyle is just a late sleeper I guess, maybe looked like he had a few coctails on friday night? Anyways, it allowed me some time to check out the beautiful town of Lapeer, MI. and the local library since I am technologically challenged, I used the computer there for a little while.
Thanks Kyle and Forum. I will keep you guys updated on the fix on the boat, once the ice melts I will be borrowing a gearcase from a family member and trying that to see if the overheat/water pressure issue goes away.

update

Well most of the ice is off of the st croix river, took the boat out today, dodged some floating ice and the boat ran great. It overheated with original gearcase as kyle said it did. I pulled the original gearcase off, put a borrowed one on and put the boat back in the river, ran flawlessly with no overheat. I did find the grommet/seal on top of water pump where the copper water pipe fits into the waterpump was upside down.... Back to the river tommorow, original gearcase with seal installed properly to see how it goes.... I will post an update if anyone cares.Worst case is i buy a used gearcase and problem is solved.
:thumb: Cheers. Boating season is here.
See my post in the other classifieds section for my other boat that is for sale.

update II

Well, went back out last night after work and it still overheats with the waterpipe to pump seal/grommet installed properly. Gearcase is back off, bringing into work tomorrow to see if i can pressurize the area from the water pump to nose cone/water intake area to see if i can find a leak.....If not I'm buying a used case. Ice on the local lakes is turning black and the river is open, Gotta get things ready to go!

Nice find Kyle. Is that the Pantera from Cali you were wanting to buy last year. Whats it all about. Inquiring minds want to know. Are you going racing this summer.

Pretty badazz video. Would love to see and know more of the boat. You should start a new thread for your new ride. You going to race it or convert it to fit a cooler and some freinds?

Well guys i opened up the bottom 3 holes of the stock water intakes on the gearcase, a lot of work as they were welded shut. I took it out today and it fixed the issue. I ran 5 or 6 full throttle passes on the lake and it ran flawlessly. I guess whoever put the nose cone on restriced it somehow. Thanks kyle and thanks problem child for checking the boat out for me last year.

Im glad to hear you were able to get it on the water with minimal expense . Nice boat and if I had space I would have bought it. You should start another thread and show that Checkmate off !! Enjoy it and be safe out there. :thumb::cheers:

Well as soon as I sell my old boat I'll be putting some hydraulic steering in to help it out along the way...
