Dang Patrick I didn't realize the boat was in rough shape when you bought it. You did a great job of restoring her to showroom condition. Congrats!!!!:thumb:

You're welcome!!! Nah it's not as hard as it looks, just a little intimidating. What kind of numbers are you getting top end?

She is like the Spuce moose... Only runs 60 with two people and half a tank of gas... Thinking next winter I will pull the motor and have some
ponies put in her. Not a fast hull because of all the free board, so not
going to get obsessed trying to make it a race boat.

You probably could see mid to upper 60's with some mods. I'm sure the I/O guys can help you out.:thumb:

That came out great, I have a 92 260 and it is in pretty good shape, hoping just have to refinish some of the seats, back hatch which should be easy. The part that is scaring me is the wall between the cockpit and the cabin has some rot. How bad was it to replace the wall, I'm assuming it's easier when the cabin is completly gutted?? Thanks and again job well done

Had to gut everything to get the old wooden rotten one out, then the new one went in with a little wiggling. A friend of mine builds custom cabinets and he did the cut out and cabinet. All in all it was not as hard as I feared.

I figured that would be the answer. The rest of the interior is in good shape, just one bad spot on the wall. Hoping I can find a garage for the winter to get the work done
