" For Sale" 1994 checkmate pulsare 2100 long deck

I think I know who bought it ;)

Wasn't me! :(

I was heading to the bank to get cash tonight and pick it up Saturday but he ended up selling it last night... Oh well! Can't be mad at all, whats that saying... A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush?? I would have done the same.

So with that said back on the search for a 2100 in the 10-12k range!

I got a test ride in the boat Tues evening......the boat was SUPER clean!

I did learn that I do prefer the open bow. But for a CD, that thing was sweet!

Super nice guy too!

I may end up with a tunnel boat of some sort if I go closed deck....we'll see

Oh well! It happens, like you said. I think you'd miss the advantages of the open bow like you had before. And don't limit yourself to the 2100, I've found the 1850 to be a great boat, with more bow seating than my old 2100BR. Also keep an eye out for the 2000.

How do the 1850 compare to the 2100 in bigger lakes?

How do the 1850 compare to the 2100 in bigger lakes?

Can't compare bigger lakes but on my small lake they're identical in the water. Can't feel any difference. My old '95 2100BR vs my newer 1850:
The 2100 is a couple feet longer but several inches narrower. The 2100 has the original bottom, the 1850 has the newer design bottom (very slight difference). The 2100 has a little more cockpit room between the rear bench and front buckets, the 1850 has a much better bow area. The newer hull appears better built than my '95, while the '95 had prettier vinyl. The 1850 is only rated for a 175, the 2100 is rated up to 250 or 300 depending on the whim of the factory that year.
Biggest difference: My 2100 with the Promax went through 18 gallons of premium gas every day I used it, the 1850 goes through 18 gallons of regular gas every 3-4 weeks...
