Mixed anwers on this question, even from the local dealers.:o

Is it possible to run a "DDT Digital Diagnostic Tester" on a 1995 200 XRi to get the total hours of use? I've got a guy that wants to buy my boat but thinks the engine only has two good years left. Compression has not changed at +110 on all 6 for the 8 years I have owned it and everything else has been well cared for so the only problem I have is...I can't answer the following question:

How many hours on the motor?

If I could have this available to interested buyers it would be very helpfull. Any feedback from someone who knows for sure wether or not I can get total hours would be very appreciated!

Thanks!

Those ECU's do not hold the hours of the motor. You will not be able to determine the hours with a DDT or anything else.

Do a leak down. On a 10 yr + motor, it'll give a better story and hopefully satisfy potential buyers.
