1995 21' Pulsare, stk 250, new best 91.1!!!

Well, pat yourself on the back because you are half right! I have never ever ever tried a clever, they don't fit the "mold" so to speak. I can explain if your simple mind cannot comprehend why, just ask! I wouldn't be so quick to speak for your buddy, I definitely won't ask you for any advise though; from what I've seen it's pretty worthless. If I ever stoop to a 'stream, expect a PM.

You should always try every prop that's available to you, especially if it's not costing you a thing. Sean nor I expected the prop to run what it did on the boat, he was just trying to get more pitch to try and keep away from the limiter. His motor still spun it right up to the limiter and was the best driving prop he's ever had on the boat. It seems the boat is fast enough to take advantage of aerodynamic lift like the lowly streams do and it is providing more stern lift to get the rest of the hull out of the water, not to mention the bow is lower and more pointed into the wind. We are both sure that if the limiter was removed the cleaver would prob run 93ish. His motor is strong and has never had a bolt turned on it, you should buy it. You will not find anything that has the power it has for the money. I like my stream, i liked the checkmates, hell i like any cool, fast boat. My next one will prob be a 22 talon, good looking boat and runs well.

Rev limiter

I plan on sending ignition box out today to have the limiter removed. I'll try it again with the cleaver when I get it back. I'm not sure what it has left in it, but the plan is to find out! I will have another video if it shows improvement. :thumb:

Wonder if that XB could spin a 30P+ Bravo??? Be a dog out of the hole, but after 10 or 12 miles she outta be hummin right along.

with the 30p cleaver, it gets on plane in about a boat length and accelerates faster than any other "top end" prop on my old 2100. No slip from a dead start, yeah I do understand that's not the norm for most cleavers as i own about 8 of them, this one just happens to hook up. Doesn't take long to top out either. Everybody has their good "all around prop" for boating loaded down, skiers etc and then you have your "top end" props, you have to try everyone you can get your hands on. I've been surprised many times.

That's nice of you to offer! Let me see where I end up with this cleaver and I may take you up on that. Thanks!!
