1996 253 Convincor Interior Removal

I need to remove the rear seat from my boat to repair the section where the motor hatch closes on the rear seat. It has pull the staples when the hatch closed. Can someone tell me how to remove the back seat. I have removed the bolts that are inside the motor compartment, but it will not come loose. I was hoping that the seat came out in sections..have I missed some secret screws or bolts....I would like to fix this before i mess up my interior...Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks

Not sure on a 253 but on my 251 there are a couple of bolts thru the gunnels that hold the wrap around portions out tight, Rob

have the same problem with my 96 253 vinyl is in good shape the staples just pulled loose going to try and pull staples and re fasten while in place.
