Not a bad price and doesn't look too shabby for price. If I had the coin, I'd buy that instead of restoring the Starfire.

How many hours on the engine? What sort of speeds were you getting WOT and reasonable cruise in the past. Looks like a pretty clean boat.

What does it need initially to get it running? To many toys now but you have my interest. Thanks Dave

Looks like the seller has a sale pending. You might want to contact him instead of asking here. I think that boat was priced nearly $10,000 below value.

Considering I sold my 219 with a carb'd 454 for only slightly less than his asking price, I'd have to agree it was priced to sell.

What kind of boat are you getting into now Hack? Also, do you know where your boat ended up?

I sold it to a guy who lives in Clarkston (no it wasn't Kid Rock...).

As far as my next boat, it's going to be either a smaller center console or open bow. Something that is 'multi-purpose' (fishing, cruising, skiing, etc.) I've been looking at the Element series that Bayliner offers. I like the E18/F18 for utility. I wish the 18' was available with 150hp, but it tops at 115hp. I'd need to step up to the 21 foot E21/F21 to get the larger outboard. Unfortunately, Bayliner doesn't offer the ski pylon in the F21 (per factory rep email). In either case, I would need to order the boat, as dealers don't stock them fully 'optioned out'. There is a really nice new 2017 Robolo R200ES with a 150hp Yamaha for sale at Gull Lake Marine (http://www.gulllakemarine.com/marine/inventory.php?brand=R200ES&manufacturer=Robalo), but it's a bit of overkill for the lake I'm on. And a lot more than the Bayliner I'd order.

And then there is always the issue of getting under the McGregor road bridge with a big center console boat (T-top is a no-go). I was told by the local Bayliner dealer that th F-series won't fit under that bridge (even without a T-top), but will will fit 'through the tube' (another access point to the river). I've never checked the bridge clearance, but I know I still have to duck down when transitioning under it with my pontoon.

I would really like another 'hot boat' (60+ mph). But as much as I'd like to build something, I really don't need (or want) another project. Although, that locally listed Playmate with the 75hp Stinger has me thinking...

That looks interesting! Going to do some research.

Edit: Triumph boats are no longer made. They had an interesting hull material: Roplene. Which is a plastic product the company roto-molded there hulls/decks with. They were then filled with foam.

Right size and like the power.

I like the bow-rider area, looks like this boat is capable of holding several people and still fish good when it's just a few people. Dead reliable Yamaha and a plastic hull you don't have to care about scratching, interesting indeed.

I have to agree: Interesting. They also had a lifetime hull warranty, which has gone to the bottom of the lake, with the production ending.

Lots of mixed reviews on the internet. I've read probably thirty or so. Most are good, a few not so good. Some issues with fasteners stripping out. A few reports of hull deformation due to improper support out of water. Lots of praise for the hull being resistant to damage, ease of cleaning. I wish it had a ski pylon or other tow point.

It's the size I'm looking for and has the power I'd like.
