I am planning for a wedding and may sell off my pride and joy to give my special lady a day to remember. Its very clean, just redid the floor (foam removed), carpet, and new wood on the rear seat. It has a brand new Fusion Marine radio and speakers with an iPod dock that I never installed.
The boat has a hydro-jackplate 5.5" with a 1997 Mercury 200EFI turning a 23P Tempest +. She has seen a top speed of 68 on GPS, motor runs smooth and gets up with no hesitation. The best boat I have ever owned. I know its off season, but is anyone in the market ?

I will try to get some pictures up soon.

Mike

Mike, sad to see you sell your pride and joy (and my boats twin:D) but congrats on your future wedding. There's nothing better than having a good woman as your first mate and you could always get another Checkmate once married!!:thumb:

The 3 rings of marriage.... Engagement ring, wedding ring and SUFFERING!

Good luck on both!

Sale

Hey Mike, Congratulations on the wedding. when I met you guys the one time last summer you seemed very good together. Sorry we didnt get out more during the season. I'm sure there will be another Checkmate in your life soon. Steve.

Still for sale

Bump...still for sale...

Selling to get out of boating for a couple years now.

Hopefully get back in sooner, I need to get out of my townhouse so I can have a garage for my next toy.

This boat sleeps in the inlaws pole barn not outside, time to get my own garage.

Open to offers as well.

Mike

Just sayin'

Don't do it man! A wedding is over in a few hrs. A boat is something you can get many hrs and years of enjoyment out of. My wife and I took our parents and anyone who really wanted to come out on the intercoastal for a 3-4 hr sunset dinner cruise w/ a 3 course meal, drinks, ceremony, and dancing for 1500.00. Still have my boat(s) and my wife.
