HULL HAS LONG HISTORY OF TRANSOM TROUBLES, SOLID NOW BUT NOT PRETTY. SOFT SPOTS IN FLOOR, IT IS WHAT IT IS.

I have seen this boat in person and it is WELL worth the money he is asking. BUY IT
 
If I could afford the boat and a divorce, it would be mine.

Then I would have to get a mail order bride, that would all cost too much.
 
No I haven't sold it, Its sitting here in the drive now. It still has cooling issues. It still only has about 10 hours on after a freshen up with merc gold rings $550 a set.

Been dealing with the big 'D' over the past year. So its put a hold on any plans about upsizing for a while now. But I do need a newer one. The starflite was good enough to take the ex-wife out in, But not nice enough to take a date out in! haha

I need to find a new mechanic who knows the hi-po 2.5's and get over to him or her early next spring and get all straightened out.

Well never really set it up for top end, 2.5 245 hp carbed. when it was new and the hull was waterfree with just the 5.5 setback spinning just the stock 21p lazor II It would see 75mph at 7500 rpms. After time added the 10 inch spacer for 15.5 total offset with same 21 p lazor. It still ran mid 70's with a water soaked hull and dinked prop. But with added leverage I was able to carry 3 guys and gear from low-mid 60's to just at 70mph.

Plus it really has the wrong gearcase too! But that CLE just looks so COOL while trailering it!:D
