someone on this site has one..it was bought from wildman(Randy)....its a white/blue flamer...

I have the blue/white flamer that randy set up. To date, i have not had the ba!*s to open it up. When randy set it up he got 82-83mph under not so perfect conditons. smallblockford did my winterize and diagnostic and said it had very little time at wide open. So i would guess it has a few more mph in her. I am still working on enough seat time to figure out the whole chinewalk thing. Hence, i still hav not opened her up

i believe its a 26 trophy plus. However, since its in my storage unit and its been a few months since i have looked. I could be wrong.....I will let you know if it is different...Randy may chime in and correct me as well

i use a tempest plus 25 on mine and it does chine walk a lot..i have in mind to replace it with a turning point from boatman or trophy..my steering is tight and mounts are in good shape...this should correct the issue (i hope)..

i am curious to see if the turning point would reduce the chinewalk for my set up.......because i get the poop scared out of me when it happens

Boatman had the same boat but w/255hp..and when he started using the TP prop,it elimated the chine walk.. ;)

The Turning Point worked well on my 21 with a 225 Opti, but won't fit any of the XS motors due to the big hub. You need to open the boat up slowly at 1/4 trim. Once you get used to it, you can bump the trim slightly. Practice, practice, practice! It's all in the steering wheel.

Randy,is it the same situation w/liberators ??

Hey Claupie, you need to get rid of that Tempest 25. That was one of the most ill-handling props I've ever tried on my Pulsare 2100. I'm currently running a Trophy 26, 7.5" of setback. The boat will try to Chinewalk in the upper 60's but then the Trophy Plus really begins to perform and the boat just excellerates without chinewalking!! You still have to "drive" the boat but thats half the fun!!!:thumb:

Thanx Jup....for sure the tempest is going...TP was my first choice, but i defenitly consider a trophy 26..cant wait for the ice to go,another 2 1/2 mths ..
i have 5 in for set back and was also thinking of going 10 in...But i need more seat time, last summer i only put 15 hres max... :surf:

Hey all,

So what do you think the 2000 Pulsare will do with a 225 E-tec H.O.? I've run the H.O. against a 225ProXS ont he same bass boat hull, and the H.O. pulled 2 MPH faster. Ran the boats side by side, tried different props and plate heights etc. The Merc just couldn't hang with the "Blue motor".
