2006 Pulsare 2400 BR Crawl Space

Cooter Mac

New member
My crawl space is holding water. We had a bad rain storm come through and it blew my boat cover off and allowed rain to get under my bow cover. In doing so, my crawl space held water in it.

My questions are why did the water not drain out and where are the drain holes located?

One other question I have to other mates is are any of you having trouble with the head liner or carpet wanting to fall?

I have emailed Checkmate several times with no avail to get an answer and also tried to call and the phone just rings.

Looking for some assistance.

There was a major hubub about a headliner in a '06 or '07 (last of the Combs Era) Checkmate of some sort a while back. Someone may be able to clarify what model. There must have been a change in adhesive or something because the older ones seem to be fine - just some in your age range had problems. Either way, yours would be out of warranty by now (not to mention the change in ownership).

That thread had some info about how to fix or either you'll have to take it to an upholstery shop.

Thanks appreciate the feedback.

I will persue this till I get an answer.

I remember reading this thread but never followed up on it because I did not have a problem then. This is very disturbing and frustrating to hear.

I watched a promo on performanceboats.com with the new owner promotiing our product.

Reading these other threads and listening him talk to the public are two different individuals.

I love my boat and I am only looking for to talk to someone about my issues.
Legal action is a last resort.

Plus living in South Louisiana, Ohio is pretty far north of I-10.
