2007 270 496 mag non HO 375hp rev 4 23P too small

As the title reads the current "labbed" (old owner says it was labbed) obviously this boat porpoises pretty bad like all. But at a little over 3/4 throttle I'm at 5000 rpm and 65 mph with 3 people and 30 gallons of fuel. Will a bravo 24P be enough or should I go up to a 26?

If your running 5000 with the 23 rev 4 a 26 bravo will run 4700. This s from personal experience. You pay shipping and I'll send you a 26 bravo to try.

I think 4700-4800 is right where it's supposed to run. I'll pay shipping no problem. Spring can't come fast enough!

My 270 BR has the same engine and the boat came with a 22 Bravo, mid to high 50's with too much RPM and a lot of bounce, so I borrowed a 26 Bravo, dropped the RPM to 4600 and increased speed to 62 MPH, the boat rides better handles better and bounces less, and a noticeable reduction in fuel consumption.
