WOW, Kip Combs is alive!! Have not seen you around here for a while. Nick and I stopped in to give you a little crap a couple weeks ago but you had ducked out already. Slacker:poke:!! Dean gave us a tour, real fun going through the plant:D Lots of neat boats in the works

I don't get. Only twelve months and we vote to make the two boats BOTM twice each. There are hundreds of amazing rigs on the site, hopefully we can come up with some new blood for 2011.

This is BOTY (boat of the year). Only thing that comes out of this poll is bragging rights, nothing else. The BOTM gets posted on the entrance and if checkmate is still doing it, they will send you a hat!

I might be wrong, but I think what Mark meant, was that two of the boats won twice within the year versus 12 totally different ones.

Yup, that's what I said. As far as BOTY there are 10 great choices. Should have been 12!

Things are going great and Hopfully, I'll have some of that new blood next spring.
(double dipping at work right now!)

nothing personal

Maybe you can change the rules to once you win a BOTM with your boat, that boat can no longer be in the nominations for the rest of the year.

I brought up something similar awhile ago, last year or the year before there were 2 and 3 months where it was the same boat that won botm and not that it wasn't a great looking boat/pic, it's that we've seen that one already!!
So, imho this is a good idea:thumb:

Did it look something like this boat?:poke:
I agree we should have 12 different boats for BOTM.
