They need to build an I/O version of that boat. And I'm gonna say it.... Use an LS platform motor in it!! That would be one sick ride!!!
As much as i would still buy it as an outboard i would agree i think it would sell as in I/O. Both in the LD and the OBK versions!
Love everything but the hump dash for the gauges! The graphics look great tho!
A 668lb 400hp OB is making even the small blocks obsolete and less cost effective. It would be cool tho. Dont be surprised if you see the splashwell turn into a sunpad for the future evolutions of the 2400.

I like the interior a lot. Yes that large cabin entry rocks. That is just a cool boat all around. I think the flake graphics lose something under fluorescent lights, I bet it would look killer in the sun.
400 hp Vrod is old news,
Now the new 627 HP Seven Marine OB is where it is at! I think Corey would even be happy with one of those since it is an LSA inside!

A sunpad is a MUST have these days. I never understood why more boats were not designed with added setback and a sunpad in mind.![]()
Mine is 15.5 back and still needs splash well for tilt. Not sure how far back it would need to clear it. Center of gravity has to be considered. The hull is deep enough that the motor is lower enough to require a lot of well.A sunpad is a MUST have these days. I think it looks great. I see bent windshields in the future. People will be grabbing on that, the old deck has a brace that supports it in the middle.
That cabin entry is awesome for such a shallow boat. The cooler storage is pretty nice also.
