21 liberator/250xs vs 2100 pulsare/250xs

Unfortunately, (For Checkmate) there is no comparison. The Liberator will be about 10-12 mph faster. The ride is VERY much smoother in a cat. You can cross a 2-3ft boat wake at 60-70 without letting off the gas. No chinewalk with a cat and you can run 80-90 mph in a 2ft chop and be very comfortable. You can also sit with no hands on the wheel at 100 mph and do it for miles. If you rode in a cat, you'd never go back to a V again!

the problem with the "cat" style boats IMO is there is very little cabin....otherwise they are sweet boats! if you want speed well then thats a no brainer:poke: luxury with a cabin for over night stays is awesome! just sayin':D

YUP! Not much cabin until you get to 30ft.

i have never seen the cabin in a 30+ft liberator....as of now i want a big "v" bottom just for the luxury....can you send me a pic of the cabin in a 30-32 cat you have or have had? sorry dont want to rob this thread....

They are very strong, but I'd say the gel work is not nearly as nice. I usually custom paint the Liberators, so they look very nice when done. I also rig them with more $$$ stuff. With paint and all the other stuff, they are usually $52K-$56K. If I put all the same parts and motor as my 21 with the 300xs, the price is about the same. Without custom paint and on a single axel trailer, I can get it down to about $48K with a 300XS and still keep all the cool rigging parts.

100% shore if i had that type of money to throw donw on a boat or when i can.. wildman i will be your way

You can own my twin 280 21 for $55K. Demo boat will be titled as a 2011. 119.5 mph!

Is this flamer (when you had the 260's on it), the fastest boat you've ever built? Gotta have a special place in Lib Boats of FL history.

Claupie, the only cats that have blowover problems are the small 18-19 ft lightweight boats. Usually due to boat wakes or wind gusts. Get your butt down here and go for a ride!

My Flamer had lightly modded 260 powerheads and ran 128.6. They 280's are much more reliable and user friendly.

I have been to Wildman's shop and looked at these boats up close, the pictuers do not do them justice! They are AWSOME! All of Randy's work is flawless!
