2100 Pulsare

I went to Chicago last Thursday to look at the ZT 280 and it looks great. I told him I would buy it as soon as I sold the Pulsare. My wife talked to a contractor today about a pole barn to put it in. I don't think it will fit in the garage like the Pulsare. ha ha

The 280 is an awesome boat, I will be a player on yours if I can convince the wife that its ok to have a payment again, mine is sold, all I have to do is give the word and my buyer will send me the money.

You have been saying you have a buyer for your Pulse for the last couple of weeks. Is it the same guy all this time???

Yeah, its the same guy, he really wants it, and he is willing to wait and see if I can convince the wife to sell and have payments again.
The sad thing is, if I told her I wanted to buy a great big pontoon

she would be 1st in line at the door of the dealer to order one, she likes slow rides, and I dont.

I have told him that if a good deal comes along not to pass on it because he is waiting on me, I feel bad enough making him wait this long,
its about a 50/50 chance now.
That is my problem, if I sell the mate, I might not be able to convince her to get another one, since she has never rode in this one.

Jeez, that sounds like quite a dilemma. I know I would never sell my Checkmate for a pontoon, although I wouldn’t mind a pontoon as a 2nd boat. Tell her the Pulsare is a smoother more stable ride over the Pulse. That might help.

Pulsare's do ride good. Mine will stay on plane down to 22 or 23 mph. With hydraulic steering it's easy for the wife and kids to drive. Lots of storage and don't forget, it's got a bimini top to keep the sun or rain off if need be.

I hear you on the WIFE & BOAT thing... I'm a boat ADICT!!! The way she see's it... It's my mid-life thing and better than an affair... CHEAPER FOR ME TOO!

That reminds me... I wonder when I should tell her about the STARFLIGHT I bought for "HER"...???

Sold today! Another board member picked her up today. Thanks for all the interest, Guys. I put a deposit on the ZT 280 last week and hope to bring her home this week. I found the ZT 280 on this site also. I'll post some pics when it warms up. This will be my first I/O and I'll probably think something is wrong when it does'nt smoke the first time out.

Yep! I'm the guilty party , picked up merc-mate's pulsare Saturday! It was well worth the 27 hour ride in the snow!!!The Mate was everything the owners said it was and more , it was a real pleasure doing business with such nice people,.just like all other check-mate owners !!!!!!!!!! Will be putting up my checkmate diplomat for sale soon ,look for the post
