i have a 88 diplomat with the 260hp 5.7 alpha combo and a 23p quicksilver cleaver prop on it,i am a boat newb so i dont really know if this is the best setup for this boat, but it seem to perform ok, speeds around 64-68 mph on the speedo at 4500-4600rpm cruise at 50-55 at 3500-3700rpm depending on how many people on the boat etc,etc pulls up skiers ok.so i let a good friend of mine borrow the boat today and it comes back with all three blades on the prop bent over about 2 inches down. so he is going to take it and have it repaired or replaced, is there a better setup possibly?
