2400 Pulsare Bowrider

Not bad, expensive though....nice design but is it just me or is that boat screaing out loud for a 300x or at least 250 Opti or EFI??!!!

B.P.

BP: I priced a new pulsare 2400 and 225 hp. Optimax back in August, and it was around 51,000.00 CDN. without a trailer.

You're probably right Checkm8fan, the price when converted might be quite comparable indeed....but you do always have to factor in the fact it's used....I would think it's a great price if the engine was a 300.....to me a 24 footer begs for nothing less than a 250, save the 225's for the Pulsare 21's!! I would love to test drive a 24' to compare it to the 21' in terms of ride and handling....

I think that is a 225 Pro XS. Kip told me they tested one on an open bow 2400 and it ran 70mph. That has to be the boat because the open bows just became available. I was planning on ordering one with the 275 Verado but I found out the 250XS is faster. So Now I'm going to wait for the 300 Opti to be released.

I LIKE IT WITH THE CLOSED DASH!! Perfect. I've always liked the dash of the closed deck boats with an open bow. I'm liking this model!

Looks to me like it would need a 14" setback motor bracket with a pair of 225 XS motors..........................

TOTALLY LOVE THAT 2400BR!!! (but the 225 has to go)...
Design & dash is very cool!

ANYONE KNOW WHAT A 2400 RUNS LIKE WITH A 300X YET???

I love the graphics and colors. (drool) Yep! A pair of twins would be just what the doctor ordered. I would also have some type of graphic on the bow and just in front of the windshield. Maybe some striping design. Something like what is on mine. Oh, and a THICK wallet to pay for it.

The new 2400 is a really sweet boat...

I was drooling big time when I saw the first one down on my factory visit!
The ONLY thing the boat needs is a wider motor well to allow for "twins" if desired...

I am seriously considering a 2400BR, but know I want the power as well... The 275 Verado I drove on a 22 sport-fisher was smooth & quiet, but a PIG on premium (only) fuel and that thing is VERY BIG and HEAVY for only 275 ponies! I now Evinrude is releasing a 300 E-tec soon, yamaha will have a 300 4-stroke, and my buddy at Merc says a 350X Verado was in R&D (now we're talking)!
Guess we wait and see...

In the mean time, has ANYONE run a 2400 yet??? Seems like NO performance/handling data is out there or am I missing something???

BEAUTIFUL BOAT. BEEN LUSTING ALL WEEK BUT COULDN/T THAT 40K I KNOW I PUT SOMEWHERE.I HEARD THEY WERE GONNA BUILD A NEW 24 FOOT OUTBOARD VERSION BUT THIS IS THE FIRST ONE IV SEEN.WAS WONDERING HOW MUCH DIFFERENCE SIZEWISE SPECS ETC.BETWEEN THIS BOAT AND MY 1987 ENFORCERS.ONE RIGGED WITH A SINGLE 1982 200 MERC.AND ONE WITH TWO 225 YAMAHAS.BOTH BOATS ARE FUN TO RUN. TAKES ALOTTA PLAYING WITH THE TWIN ON THE K PLANES AND MOTOR TRIM TO FIND THAT SWEET SPOT WITH A BOAT THIS SIZE UNDER DIFFERENT CONDITIONS WITH THAT KINDA WEIGHT HANGING OFF THE NOT TO MENTION THE 12 INCH SETBACK BRACKETS.ITS STIL A GAS WHEN YOU CAN AFFORD THE GAS BOYOBOY.THE SINGLE IS PROBABLY GONNA GO IN THE SPRING OR SOONER AND WOULD MAKE SOMEBODY A SWEET RIG WITH JUST A LITTLE MORE MOTOR.ANYBODY WANNA SEE IT ----jfkoch429@comcast.net
