" For Sale" 25p TROPHY PLUS!

Weedo

Selling my Mercury Marine Trophy Plus - 25p.

In great shape with only the normal very tiny nicks here and there on the very outer blades.

***What's a real, fair price for this prop or what do they normally sell for? I haven't followed the pricing... I just sold my 'Mate with the 200 on it and actually forgot I had. I have a box with wood, built, and ready to ship this safely. :thumb:

I have 2 offers on S&F: $275 & $300 shipped (offers were too fast, must be low ;)).

I'm willing to sell it for $325 shipped, Paypal, shipped next day.

Yeah might as well hold out for that price, seems like it should easily sell at that. Someone is always looking for this prop!

what I was saying is that every one only wants to pay $275ish for the prop. at $325 you might be holding on to it for a while like me.

Oh, gotcha, yeah, I don't mind coming down $25 to get it sold. I'll repost tonight if he buys it, but looks like I may have it sold (pending Paypal).

Noob here - how would i know if i would benifit from this? I have a 83 Enforcer with 200 Black Max, Quicksilver 29p prop on it now. Fully loaded im doing 52 gps @ 5,500 rpm.

It depends on the max rpm/power level of your motor. If it's 5,500rpm then you may already have the right prop. If it's, say, 6,000rpm, then a 25p may be what you need to get the extra power out of your motor.

I'm thinking car engines here which I assume it still applies... but 500rpm short of the power peak could leave you 20-40hp short of what a motor is capable of.

You can always GPS your speed before/after a prop swap to see what you're getting, but you'd need one to swap out and try first.

Maybe someone with more knowledge of your motor will know which prop is best for you.

I told you....:D

So it was "sold" to two different people on "another site" right off the bat. Both gave me the "I'll take it!" at $300. Neither Paypal'd. I know, big surprise huh? Nice to have the room back in the garage!
